FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE [Company name] Launches [Product name] [One-sentence description] [City], [Release date] - [Company name] today announced [Product name], [One-sentence description]. [Price and availability] The company built the product after watching early customers juggle separate apps for lighting, locks and air quality. [Product name] brings those controls into one screen and works with hardware many households already own, so setup takes minutes rather than a weekend. A group of households tested an early version of [Product name] before launch, and their feedback shaped which features shipped first. The company says the biggest change since testing began was moving lock control into the main screen instead of a separate tab. "[Quote]" said [Spokesperson name], [Spokesperson title] at [Company name]. [Details] About [Company name] [About the company] Media contact [Contact name] [Contact email] [Contact phone] ###

Before you send it
- Put the price and the ship date in the first sentence. Reporters and shoppers both look for them there.
- Cut every adjective that is not a fact. Countertop device tells a reporter more than revolutionary device.
- Name one competitor's approach in your own head before you write the details, so you know what makes this one worth covering.
- Send the release with one product photo attached. A release with no image is easy to skip.
