Before you send it
- Say what changes and what stays the same in the same paragraph, so customers are not left guessing.
- Keep the old name in the first sentence so past customers and search results can still find the news.
- Explain the reason for the new name in one sentence; save the brand story for a separate page.
- If pricing, support contacts or logins are not changing, say so explicitly rather than by omission.
